About Creative Sweet Shack

Creative Sweet Shack promotes educational learning opportunities for K-8 students to develop artistically and learn artists' biographies and their artmaking processes. We reach into the archives to bring stories to life. Students delve into the creative practices of architects and designers, among other makers who have made an impact in the arts.

We support such learning through a series of illustrated stories, instructional lessons, digital resources and virtual exhibitions. We feel it's necessary to make those connections in a historical context as we highlight and support subject areas in world history, literature and science.

Our sincerest efforts are with the hopes that you and your student(s) gain key knowledge about the artists we present, while easing the journey of the teaching and learning experience.
